Class Descriptions

  • Abs Blast - half hour class aimed at strengthening and toning of the core stomach muscles.
  • Aerobics - a traditional aerobics class using choreographed moves to get the body pumping and burn off the calories.
  • Aero Step - combination class including Aerobic and Step
  • Aqua Bodyblaster - a low impact high energy class incorporating choreographed movement in shallow water. Improves core strength, flexibility and tones specific muscle groups.
  • Aqua Tone - low impact exercises with choreographed movements in shallow water. Improves core strength, flexibility and tones specific muscle groups.
  • Body Tone & Conditioning - conditions and tones. All over body workout.
  • Boxercise - will also help improve co-ordination. A great full body workout.
  • Core Stability - designed to work the core muscles within the body. It's a great way to excercise and improve strength, fitness and core stability.
  • Circuits - an all over body workout which works muscles you didn't know you had. Various cardio and resistance activities in a circuit format. As easy or as hard as you want to make it!
  • Danceasize - fun for all! Dance moves which will burn calories and tone up while having a great time.
  • Flex & Relax - core stability, flexibility and relaxation.
  • LBT - for strengthening, toning and firming the legs, bottom and abdominal muscles without the use of high impact movements.
  • Spinnercise - this fun, athletic, cardiovascular cycling working will leave you on a high and wanting more. It burns fat and eats up calories.
  • Step - a fitness workout which centres around a step using choreographed moves, will work and tone the butt and thighs especially well.
  • 20/20/20 - class split into three sections of circuit, body blast and abdominals.

Exercise for Health Classes

  • Cardiac Rehabilitation & Low Intensity Workout - low impact circuit class with a mix of cardiovascular and weight bearing exercises. Carried out by our hightly qualified cardiac instructor.
  • EasyLine Workout - A full body workout which can benefit any user with the equipment being non-intimidating and EASY to use.

Fitness Class Guidelines

  • Please arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the class start time.
  • Late attendees may not enter the class in order to minimise disruption and avoid injury.
  • Please wear non-marking soles in the exercise classes.
  • Drinks may only be taken into the class in plastic containers.
  • Classes may have alternative instruction to that advertised. We reserve the right to change the instructor at any time.

Fitness Class Bookings

All fitness classes may be booked 7 days in advance. Bookings can be made from 8.00am onwards, 7 days a week.

Membership card holders may book either in person or by phone.
Non membership card holders must pay at reception when booking.

24 hours notice of cancelation must be given otherwise full payment will be lost. The management reserves the right to withdraw the advance booking facility from any individual customer in the event of their continued abuse of the service.

When re-booking a class for the following week, customers are strongly advised to do so in advance as booking cannot be guaranteed at the time of the activity if the reception area is busy.
